Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026 · Publisher: NovaCoreLabs · App: Rutixer (com.novacorelabs.rutixer)
This policy describes how the Rutixer Android app handles information. It is the public privacy page for Google Play and in-app privacy links.
Who we are
Rutixer is published by NovaCoreLabs. The app does not create a NovaCoreLabs account and does not send your routines to a NovaCoreLabs server.
Data stored on your device
Rutixer stores the following locally:
- Routines, steps, nested Repeat Blocks, icons, accents, and cue settings in the on-device database.
- Appearance (theme) and onboarding state in on-device preferences.
- The active timer session in app no-backup storage so it is not included in Android Auto Backup.
Android Auto Backup may include routines and appearance settings if backup is enabled on the device. The live timer session is excluded from Auto Backup.
What we do not collect
- No NovaCoreLabs login or profile.
- No Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or other custom telemetry SDK.
- No sale of personal information by NovaCoreLabs.
Google Play Billing
Lifetime Pro is a one-time in-app product sold by Google Play Billing. Google processes the purchase. Rutixer checks ownership on the device so Pro features and ad removal can apply. Rutixer does not send purchase tokens or order IDs to a NovaCoreLabs server.
Google’s handling of payment data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising (free app only)
If you use Rutixer without Lifetime Pro, Google advertising SDKs may request ads after Google’s User Messaging Platform indicates that ads may be requested in your region.
- Banners appear only on the routine list and the templates list.
- Ads never appear on the runner, editor, completion, Settings, Pro, or onboarding screens.
- Lifetime Pro removes ads.
Google may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location, and app interactions as described in Google’s ads documentation. Rutixer does not operate a separate ad profile.
Where required, you can reopen advertising privacy choices from Rutixer Settings (Privacy choices). That form is provided by Google’s User Messaging Platform.
Notifications and permissions
Rutixer may request notification permission so you can control a running session from the notification. The timer can still run if you decline; notification controls may be limited. Vibration is used only when you enable it on a step.
Children
Rutixer is a general productivity timer. It is not directed at children. Do not use the app if you are not permitted to use Google Play in your region.
Your choices
- Delete routines in the app to remove that local content.
- Uninstalling Rutixer removes app-private storage on the device.
- Android backup and Google Play purchase history follow your Google account settings.
- Advertising consent, where required, is managed through Google’s consent form.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page and ship the corresponding in-app description.
